In 2023, Candice was diagnosed with Stage 2, triple-negative breast cancer. Throughout her journey, she found the experience to be overwhelming, from the initial diagnosis and encountering unfamiliar medical terms to facing the fear that came with it all. Still, through it all, she knew she wasn’t alone. Throughout this challenging time, she was blessed to have an amazing support system. However, Candice realized that not everyone had access to such support, and she wanted to make a difference. This realization led to the creation of the Pretty Pink Project.
